Ayer, 15 de octubre, no había cobertura telefónica ni acceso a internet en Hamelin, lugar en el que terminó la jornada que iniciamos en Coral Bay.

Yesterday, October 15, there was no telephone coverage or internet access in Hamelin, where we ended the day we started in Coral Bay.

El día anterior, 14 de octubre, nos lo tomamos de descanso en Coral Bay. Ocupamos el día en hacer limpieza y revisión de los autogiros, colada de ropa y algo de turismo (fuimos en un barquito de esos que tienen acristalado el casco a ver el arrecife). Muy buen tiempo y buena temperatura.

The day before, October 14, we had a rest in Coral Bay. We spent the day cleaning and checking the autogyros, washing clothes and some tourism (we went in a boat that has glazed the hull to see the reef). Very good weather and good temperature.

La jornada de ayer, estaba pensada para hacerla en 3 etapas, pero las buenas condiciones de viento hizo que la completáramos en dos.

Yesterday's flight was designed to be done in 3 stages, but the good wind conditions made it complete in two stages.

La primera de 108km la terminamos en Gnaraloo Station (tuvimos dificultades en encontrarlo), un campo salpicado, esta vez, de ovejas y cabras.

The first stage of 108km we finished at Gnaraloo Station (we had difficulties in finding it), a field dotted, this time, with sheep and goats.

En la segunda etapa de 323km se tardó unas 2 horas y media en completarla, gracias a un generoso viento de cola. Eran alrededor de las 10am y posados en Hamelin se terminaba la jornada. Esta ha sido una de las jornadas de vuelo más fáciles y placenteras (si se olvida el rato de zozobra en localizar Gnaraloo)

In the second stage of 323km it took about two and a half hours to complete it, thanks to a generous tailwind. It was around 10am when we landed in Hamelin. This was one of the easiest and most pleasant flight days (if you forget the time of anxiety in locating Gnaraloo)

Hoy, 16 de octubre, salimos de Hamelin hacia las 6am. Estaba muy nublado y tuvimos que esperar un rato hasta tener buena visibilidad para despegar. Con cielo cubierto, ambiente muy fresco, viento de cola y panorama sin interés, se hicieron 147km hasta el aeródromo de Kalibarri.
Today, October 16, we left Hamelin around 6am. It was very cloudy and we had to wait a while until we had good visibility to take off. With overcast sky, very cool atmosphere, tail wind and uninteresting view, we made 147km to the Kalibarri airfield.

En la segunda etapa entre Kalibarri y Dongara (224km) la mejora del tiempo y del paisaje fue considerable

In the second stage between Kalibarri and Dongara (224km) the improvement of weather and landscape was sizable.

En Dongara la toma fue un poco difícil debido al fuerte y racheado viento cruzado (que el viento esté cruzado a la pista viene siendo una constante en casi todos los aeródromos).

In Dongara the landing was a little difficult due to the strong and gusty crosswind (the cross-wind to the track has been a constant in almost all the aerodromes).
