Hoy nos hemos levantado a las 3:30am; a las 4:30am estábamos en el aeródromo quitando fundas y haciendo la revisión, y a las 5:05am (hora de salida del sol) despegábamos.

La primera etapa (270km) ha sido muy bonita. Nos dirijimos a unos 50km, al lugar que llaman "Bungle Bungle" en el Parque Nacional de Purnululu. Se trata de unas formaciones rocosas muy curiosas esculpidas por la erosión. El sol naciente les daba a las rocas un colorido bellísimo.

Continuamos hasta Margaret River Station (otra explotación ganadera) para posarnos y hacer el rellenado de depósito (como en la mayoría de los aeródromos, no había nadie). Eran las 8am y el sol ya era implacable.

La segunda etapa, aunque más corta (162km), fue una pesadez. Con el calor apretando, el aire se vuelve muy térmico, los motores suben de temperatura y hay que volar bastante alto, las térmicas someten a los autogiros a un continuo sube y baja, el paisaje monótono a más no poder, ganas de acabar cuanto antes...
